The Collaborative Firm hosted the eight annual 2010 South Metro Development Outlook Conference on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Clayton State University. Over 500 people attended the Conference, which featured top financial, industry and government professionals including: Mayor Kasim Reed, City of Atlanta; Chairman Eldrin Bell, Clayton County Board of Commissioners; Chairman John Eaves, Fulton County Board of Commissioners; Chairman Jack Smith, Fayette County Board of Commissioners; Dana Lemon, Georgia Department of Transportation; Tad Leithead, Atlanta Regional Commission; Tim Lowe, Governor’s Water Contingency Task Force; Sid Johnson, State of Georgia; Roger Tutterow, Ph.D., Mercer University; and more.
South Metro Development Outlook was established in 2003 by The Collaborative Firm, an Atlanta based land use planning and real estate development firm, for the purpose of convening professionals with an interest in fostering smart growth in South Metropolitan Atlanta. The conference features the following seven south metro counties, Clayton, Coweta, Douglas, Fayette, Henry, South Fulton and Spalding Counties. Each year, the forum continues to grow in participation and content. Since its inception, the conference has attracted over 4,500 attendees.
Special thanks to Georgia Power and the Development Authority of Clayton County and all our sponsors, program participants, volunteers and others for collaborating with us to bring this dynamic forum to the Atlanta metropolitan area. Please visit the speaker page on the website to view presentations from this year’s conference.
